Based on the highly functional HIKER TRASH model, these socks are specially designed for hiking and trekking. Pile fabric is used for the sole lining for better cushioning, while the longer length works particularly well with boots. Just like the HIKER TRASH model, this item is made of pre-shrunk Merino wool yarn and special stretch yarn developed for sports socks for better fit and durability. The bigger heel and arch support design help the foot stay in place.
Ryosuke Kawato, also known as HIKER TRASH and SKETCH, is a long-distance hiker who has completed America’s Triple Crown of Hiking, while being active as an illustrator and writer. HIKER TRASH is one of ROTOTO’s sock series made in collaboration with Kawato. Every pair in this series is designed by merging his hiking experience and ROTOTO’s expertise to make it highly functional. Each sock comes with ROTOTO’s original carabiner and a carabiner hole for line-drying.
