UNION x ROTOTO "FRAMEWORK SOCK"

1989年にNYのSOHOで創業し、黎明期のストリートカルチャーを牽引してきた伝説的なセレクトショップ「UNION」そのオーナーChris Gibbs（クリス・ギブス）氏が日頃から愛用しているしていることからスタートしたUNION x ROTOTOコラボレーション企画が今シーズンよりスタート。第一弾はオーガニックコットン糸で織られた杢調が美しい"Framework Sock”をリリース。スウェットシャツのように織り糸を部分的にミックスし耐久性と履き心地を両立、足底のパイル編みの仕様によりクッション性と吸水性を兼ね備えた機能的なデザイン。「一生愛せる消耗品」を標榜とするROTOTOが手掛けたジャパン・クオリティを体現するプロダクトに仕上がりました。

Founded in 1989 in Soho, New York, the legendary UNION shop was a driving force behind early street culture. Originating from a favorite of Chris Gibbs, the select owner of UNION, the UNION x ROTOTO collaboration project kicked off this season. The first release is the beautiful heathered "Framework Sock" woven with organic cotton yarn. The functional design combines durability and comfort with a partially mixed woven thread like a sweatshirt, and the terry knit on the sole provides cushioning and moisture absorption. Created by ROTOTO, which advocates "consumables you can love for a lifetime," this product embodies Japanese quality.
