TIE DYE SWEDISH MILITARY RIB SOCKS

ミリタリーのタフネスと、ヒッピーカルチャーの自由なムードを融合させてデザインしたソックス。スウェーデン軍のサーマルシャツの編み地から着想を得たリブ編みのソックスを、タイダイに染め上げました。長年ビジネスソックスやフォーマルソックスを専門に手がけてきた、奈良県の工場で編み立てています。つま先部分は縫い代のごろつきを抑えるため、編み目同士を丁寧につなぎ合わせる“リンキング” 仕上げを採用。スニーカーからレザーシューズまで、さまざまなシーンで活躍します。編み立てから染色まですべて奈良県内で行った、こだわりの詰まった一足です。

These tie-dye socks are designed by merging the toughness of military clothes and the freewheeling mood of hippy culture. The ribbed design is made with inspiration from thermal shirts worn by the Swedish Army. Each sock is knitted at an established factory that has been producing business and formal socks in Nara Prefecture. The toe is carefully attached to the body with a linking method to make it feel more comfortable to wear. From knitting to dyeing, this item is made entirely in Nara.
